In 1880, Caxton Road was the home to Barratts, who has grown to be one of the biggest confectionery manufactures of the 20th century, known for their fruit salad and blackjack sweets. The site is now The Chocolate Factory, a collection of offices and studios that bring employment opportunities into the locality.
